Conference 2018

Conference 2018

This year we held our 3rd Annual Conference and it was a little different.  The team has listened to feedback from previous years and, as a result, we had a conference week. The purpose of the week as to allow more people - more opportunities to take part.  More than that, it offered everyone in the Partnership greater opportunities to engage interactively, to contribute, to support the work of others, or to educate the wider partnership about their own work.

The theme of the whole week was ‘SHARE, DISCOVER, GROW’.

This page has been developed as part of that Conference feedback, to show that it isn’t just an event, done and then forgotten about. The ACHSCP annual conference is an integral part of our partnership engagement - here you will have the opportunity to feedback ideas that you would like to see in future events. We hope this page provides you information on the Conference Week whether you were there or not.

Pecha Kucha Presentations

This format was used in our Share section of our main conference event. It’s a great way to get a lot of information in a short snappy format. The concept is to do your presentation in 20 slides and only having 20 seconds per slide to give information. It bases the format more on the talk and less on the “presentation” of your slides. It gives you an opportunity to be creative and using pictures and short text for your audience to remember your presentation subject.
