Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership together with Aberdeen FC Community Trust will host a nutrition-packed buffet event from 10.30am on Thursday 16 June as part of their Meno & Pause Co-lab Café series.
In this the fourth event in the series, a nutritionist will explain the significance of foods that are beneficial to women no matter what stage of the menopause they are going through.
The buffet is a key part of this event and will be available from 11am with the chef on hand to explain how the featured dishes were prepared.
The menu will offer a wide selection of fresh salads, fruit and meat including:
- Red cabbage & green apple slaw
- Puy lentil with roasted butternut squash
- Heritage tomato & basil
- Chicory, fennel and beetroot with crumbed goat’s cheese
- Roasted cauliflower, sultana & pomegranate
- Mixed spring green leaf
- Moroccan vegetable & fruit cous cous
- Selection of poached and roasted chicken
- Poached & hot smoked salmon
- Induvial quiche selection
- Fresh summer berries with meringue shards
- Flourless chocolate brownie
This event includes the buffet and costs £16.76pp (£15 plus £1.76 booking fee) to attend and must be paid at the time of booking on Eventbrite. The option to attend this event without purchasing the buffet is not available.

This series of events are held in a relaxed environment and open to anyone who is interested – women, men and transgender.
ACHSCP and Aberdeen FC Community Trust are working together to try and diminish the stigma around menopause, to empower women with relevant information, support and relatable role models who understand the rollercoaster of emotions experienced.
The event finishes at 12.30pm but attendees are welcome to stay for networking or to chat until 1.30pm.
