The consultation period for Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (ACHSCP) Strategic Plan for 2022 to 2025 has been extended to Monday 04 April 2022 to allow further public participation.
ACHSCP Strategic Plan 2022-2025 - Consultation Draft has been developed involving community representatives and is the result of a year-long engagement process closely aligned to consultation activity with ACHSCP’s statutory partners in developing the refreshed Community Planning Aberdeen’s Local Outcome Improvement Plan and NHS Grampian’s Plan for the Future.
The plan will provide a high-level overview of the strategic objectives and direction of the work of the partnership over the next three years to address the specific challenges that people face in Aberdeen including:
- recovery from the pandemic
- increasing demand for health and social care services
- challenges in recruiting staff to key roles
- improving the health and wellbeing of residents and working collaboratively with them, and with partner organisations to achieve this.
Luan Grugeon, IJB Chair said “The Health and Social Care Partnership’s Strategic Plan is hugely significant, and we are keen to ensure that we get it right for the people of Aberdeen, therefore we took the decision to allow more time to encourage further feedback from individuals, groups and organisations living and working in Aberdeen City.
“This is a great opportunity to be heard and by doing so enable us all to work together to improve outcomes for local people and communities.”
