Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership are pleased to launch the consultation of our local mental health and wellbeing strategic statement.
The strategic statement outlines our vision and aims for mental health and wellbeing in Aberdeen City.
Our formal consultation process commences on 25th July 2019 and will conclude on 5th September 2019. During this time, it is hoped that a variety of comments and views can be gathered on the draft strategic statement by way of our online survey or through individual or group engagement.
You can view the consultation survey at:
We encourage everyone with an interest in mental health to give their views, including people with experience of poor mental health and wellbeing or mental ill-health, family members or Carers, professionals or organisations who support people directly in relation to their mental health or wider community organisations or groups.
Following the consultation process the strategic statement will be finalised and then presented to the Integration Joint Board for approval. A detailed action plan will then be completed. It is important that all stakeholders, including people who have experience of poor mental health and wellbeing or mental ill-health are actively involved in this process. There will be opportunities in the strategic statement consultation online survey to get involved in these vital next steps.
