Health Improvement Fund (HIF) Review

How can it better support the health and wellbeing of people in Aberdeen?

The Health Improvement Fund (HIF) supports initiatives that improve health and wellbeing of people in Aberdeen. It is administered by Aberdeen Health and Social Care Partnership which is committed to ensuring that HIF meets the needs of communities across the city.

So we are carrying out a review.

Stage 1: Where we are now - current application process

We need views from people that have applied to the fund in the last few years.  It is important that the application process we provide is accessible and easy to follow. You can get involved by sharing your experience in two ways:

Quick survey (5-10 mins)

Stage 2: Where we want to go

We want to make sure that the fund meets the needs of communities and we are looking for views from anyone interested in health and wellbeing. This part of the review will help us shape the future direction of the fund so it remains responsive to what is needed in Aberdeen.

You can get involved by sharing your views and experiences in two ways:

A quick survey (5-10 mins)

Other ways to get involved:

We are also happy to discuss with you other ways in which we can hear your/your community’s views – phone conversation, attending community groups, coming along to team meetings, etc.  Please email nhsg.neighbourhoodhif@nhs.net to discuss further.

We look forward to working with you!
