What does Connect mean?
Connecting with others is so important to keeping you well. Many of us don’t have family and friends around to talk to. Here are some helpful contacts to help you if you are struggling in any way because your circumstances have changed in light of the Coronavirus.

Crisis Support Line
The Council has a free crisis support line for those:
- facing crisis
- extreme hardship due to the rising cost of living

- experiencing domestic abuse or concerned about a family member/friend
The number is 0800 0304 713. You can contact us for welfare advice and emotional support, including what to do if you are struggling to get food or pay bills.
This is not a medical helpline, if you require medical assistance you should contact NHS 24 on 111.
