‘Improving health’ course lined up this autumn

Aberdeen’s Public Health Team has organised a course aimed at helping health and wellbeing professionals increase their confidence in taking action to reduce health inequalities.

“Improving Health: Developing Effective Practice” will run over four days at Woodend Hospital across September, October and November.

The course has been developed by NHS Health Scotland in association with NHS Health Promotion departments, and is accredited by Robert Gordon University.

This is a blended learning course which combines eLearning and face-to-face workshops accredited at SCQF level 9 by RGU. The course is aimed at all occupational groups in the public, voluntary and third sectors with a role or interest in improving health or tackling health inequalities.

The closing date for applications is Monday 22 August.
